For years, Michael-Blu De Francesco performed as a singer and actor in both Los Angeles and New York, in clubs and on Broadway. Always restless for the next artistic pursuit, he met Dom Blu partner Seth Lewis in a film class where they collaborated on a short documentary. Eventually, the pair traveled to Las Vegas to attend culinary school. They worked as chefs in a range of hotels and resorts before returning to LA where they cooked for clients like Mike Tyson. When the chef gig ended, Michael and Seth decided to go into business for themselves. This time, the pursuit was fashion. First, a clothing line—Blu+Seth Farms—that has earned praise in shows as far away as China. And now, Dom Blu Hollywood continues that momentum, with an emphasis on LA style, superior quality, casual sophistication.
Seth Lewis
Although Seth Lewis always had an eye for fashion, he spent years splitting his time between artistic pursuits, like singing and filmmaking, and working blue-collar construction and automotive jobs along the California coast. After meeting Dom Blu partner Michael-Blu De Francesco, the pair began collaborating on a variety of projects —as painters, as chefs, and ultimately as clothing designers and entrepreneurs. Their clothing line, Blu+Seth Farms, was introduced in 2009. The pair was invited to debut the Hollywood-inspired line in China during Fashion Week. It was only a matter of time before they branched out to launch Dom Blu Hollywood, an online store with exclusive apparel from top designers and a distinctly Californian perspective.
