creator and owner Michael Blu De Francesco knows fashion and has a knack for putting things together. Michael Blu has a vision, “It’s a concept” says De Francesco, who opened the 1,250 sqft men’s boutique at Fig Garden Village in Fresno, California. De Francesco who grew up in Firebaugh, California returns to the San Joaquin Valley after years of working as an actor and singer in New York and Los Angeles.

“No matter what coast I was living on, Fresno has always been home. It is the place I come to be grounded. That's why it was so important to me that Fig Garden be my home base store.”

Aesthetically, the store is loosely based on nightclubs frequented by De Francesco while living in the Los Angeles area. You’ll find silver coo coo clocks, upside-down lamps, cheetah print chairs, a crystal chandelier, orange accents and white leather. All reminiscent of such Hollywood hot spots: Asia de Cuba, Mondrian, Lola’s, The ‘S’ Bar and the SLS Hotel.

Inside shoppers will find a mix of fashion forward apparel and accessories mostly celebrity-driven lines that are exclusive to only the Dom Blu store. Personality-apparel you won’t find anywhere else.
